A quirky running shoot-em-up

A2C:Ayry seems to be playtesting a 2D runner shooter from Cci, or simply A2C, is a premium arcade game where you'll take the role of Ayry. Your mission? Find the guardian of the nation, Cci, by play-testing the game that she made.

This title is set in a colorful 2D world where you'll have to shoot and dodge the bullets fired at you — all while you keep running and gunning. A2C isn't just about fun gameplay, as you can also enjoy the narrative told through Ayry and Cci's banter with each other.

Run, dodge, and shoot with caution

A2C features dynamic gameplay where you jump, run, shoot, and gun through a kaleidoscope-like environment. Being a running game, you'll have to control Ayry — helping her dodge obstacles by jumping and sliding — as she moves through each level to get to the end. Despite being forced to run forward, you still have control over how fast you want to go.

Aside from the obstacles, you will also come face-to-face with various enemies — from swarms of sad-looking blocks to giant Among Us-like characters. You have to shoot these adversaries to get past them. You can see how many enemies you've slayed through the kill counter. There's also a speed timer if you're a speed runner who wants to be the fastest player in the game.

One thing to note about this game is that it contains flashy RGB bullets that may be harmful to players with photosensitive epilepsy or similar conditions. There is an option to slow down the flashes of the bullets and remove most of the RGB from the game. However, it's advised that players should still take caution to prevent epileptic episodes from occurring.

Mind the flashy elements

Overall, A2C is a fun and engaging title that brings an exciting gaming session for players who love running and shooting games. Its colorful world and quirky enemies make for a dynamic gameplay that will keep you on your toes. However, keep in mind that it does feature flashy RGB elements that may trigger epileptic episodes. Players with photosensitive epilepsy or similar conditions are advised to take extra caution when playing this game.
